Overview
If you’re planning to manage a fleet of devices, it may be tedious to get all of them enrolled in your device management system. The Radix Device Management Platform features a Zero-Touch Enrollment Wizard to get all of your Android devices up and running in your system. The remote users just have to power on their device and connect to a network, and they will already be enrolled in the platform. Using the Zero-Touch Enrollment wizard, you can always add more approved compatible devices at a later date.
Step One: Log In to the Radix Device Management Platform
1. To access the Zero-Touch Enrollment wizard, supply your username and your other account details in the login screen:
- Username
- Account name
- Password
Step Two: Find the Specific Device Account
2. Find the specific account name in the “Domain” column for which you wish to apply zero touch enrollment for its devices. You may use the Search bar at the top of the console to find the account.
Step Three: Open the Zero-Touch Wizard
3. Click on the three-dot menu of the specific account and select Zero-Touch Enrollment to open the Zero-Touch wizard.
Step Four: Download the CSV File
4. In the Zero-Touch wizard, click Download to download a .csv template file in which you will supply the names of the devices to which to employ zero-touch enrollment. The file will have the generic name “zerotouch-template.csv”.
The .csv file will have the following format:
Step Five: Complete the List of Devices
5. Supply the Device ID of each device you wish to enroll in the Radix Device Management Platform. You also have the option of adding the device name and any tags associated with each device, although this is not mandatory.
Note: If a device has several tags, separate the tags with the “pipe” (=vertical bar) symbol, “|”:
Step Six: Upload the CSV File and Enroll the Devices
6. In the Zero-Touch wizard, click on Upload to upload the .csv file that you have created.
You will get a notification in the lower right corner informing you that the file was uploaded successfully.
7. Click Apply in the Zero-Touch wizard to execute the Zero-Touch enrollment for the devices that you have specified.
This automatically enrolls all of the devices listed in the csv file. You can use the Zero-Touch Enrollment wizard at a later date to enroll more devices.
