Overview
The Radix Device Management Platform has a Direct Message command. It allows you to send a simple text message to a remote device. The message can consist of a Message Title and a Message Body. You can use it to conveniently send an alert to a remote device user. Also, the Direct Message command is perfect for confirming that a device is indeed configured properly in your fleet of devices. It’s a simple “point-and-shoot” command that shows up instantly on the remote device.
If you wish to send a more ornate message to a remote device, the Radix Device Management Platform also has an Advanced Messaging command, which allows you to send text along with an image, an audio clip, or a YouTube video.
