After you have created a Schedule & Trigger command, you may wish to stop it at some later point. This can be done from the Commands console.
Creating a Schedule & Trigger Command
In the example below, we have created a Schedule and Trigger command. When applied, it will send a text message “Wake up!” to the remote device.
It will display this message every minute:
Stopping a Trigger Command
To stop this command:
1. Click on the Command History icon in the sidebar menu in the Radix Device Management Platform.
2. Find the Schedule & Trigger command that you wish to stop.
3. Click on the three-dots menu on the far-right and select Stop command.
4. You will receive a prompt to verify whether you are sure you wish to stop the command.
5. Click Yes. You will receive a verification that the command has been stopped:
The command will cease to be executed, and the message will no longer be displayed on the remote device every minute.
Resuming a Trigger Command
To resume the Trigger command:
1. Click on the three-dots menu of the Schedule & Trigger command that you wish to resume.
2. Click Start command. You will be prompted whether you are certain that you wish to resume the command.
3. Click Yes. You will receive a verification that the command has been resumed:
The device will receive the “Wake up!” message every minute, as before.
