On occasion, you may want to limit a remote user’s ability to run an app on their devices. Also, there may be apps that are problematic on certain devices and cause them to crash. The Radix MDM has a Disable app command, which allows you to temporarily prevent the remote user from running an app on a device. The app's icon will be removed from the device’s display. If you wish to run the app again later, there is also an Enable app command to restore the app icon on the remote device.
Note: The Disable apps command will not uninstall the app from the device. You must use the Uninstall command to uninstall an app from a device. There are also the Clear App Data and Clear App Cache commands that can help you reset an app that is not functioning properly.
