Overview
If a remote user encounters a problem with an Android app on their device, such as the app not starting correctly or crashing unexpectedly, there are several Radix MDM commands that can address this. Besides the Disable Apps command (which just conceals the app’s icon from the remote user), you can try using the Clear App Data and Clear App Cache commands.
- Clear app cache will clear the data cached by the specific apps installed on the device. This is a preliminary step to try when encountering performance issues. If this fails to solve the problem, try using the Clear app data command.
- Clear app data will clear the user’s history on the device and require them to log in again. This typically will solve most performance issues.
