An Android tablet will most likely be associated with one or more Google accounts. The Google account will be used to download apps from the Google Play Store. But, if you want to transfer the use of the device to another person, you will want to remove the existing Google account from the Android device.
The Radix Device Management Platform has a function to remove all Google accounts from a device, or to retain a single one. With just a couple of clicks, you will be able to transfer the use of a device from one user to another. It will switch the default Google account on the device as well.
Where can you find the command
This command can be accessed by three methods:
Method One: From the Bulk Actions Button
1. Click on the Devices icon in the sidebar menu to open the Devices Table.
2. From the list, select the device for which you want to remove the Google accounts, by checking its checkbox in the far-left column. The Bulk Actions button becomes active.
3. Click on Bulk Actions>Configure>Remove Google Account.

Note: This method has the advantage of allowing you to check the checkboxes on several devices, and then clicking Remove Google accounts from device. You will be able to assign the same Kiosk display on several devices at once.
Method Two: From the device’s three-dot menu
1. Click on the Devices icon in the sidebar menu to open the Devices Table.
2. From the list, find the device for which you want to remove the Google account. You can use the Search bar at the top of the list.
3. Click on the three-dot (kebab) menu in the far-right column of the device>Configure>Remove Google Account.

Method Three: From the device’s Device Dashboard
You can also access the Remove Google accounts command from the Device Dashboard.
To open the Device Dashboard:
1. Open the Devices Table and find the device for which you want to remove Google accounts. You can use the Search bar at the top of the list.
2. Click anywhere on the row of the specific device.
The Device Dashboard will open.
3. In the menu on the far-right side, click Manage>Remove Google Accounts.

Using the Removing Google Accounts Command
To remove Google accounts from a device:
1. When you start the Remove Google Accounts command by one of the methods we described above, the following window appears:
2. If you wish to remove all Google accounts from the device, select “Remove all accounts” and click Confirm. You will get confirmation that the command has been sent to the device, and that all Google accounts associated with the device are removed.
3. If you select “Keep one account”, you will be prompted to enter a Google account that you would like to retain.
4. If you select Remove accounts by condition, you will be prompted to supply a condition that the account does or does not contain:
5. Click Confirm. You will get confirmation that the command has been sent and that the Google account has been removed in accordance with your selection.
