You may wish to assign passwords to the Viso Agent app on the remote devices in your fleet, as an extra security precaution. Both the Viso Agent app on the remote device, as well as the Radix Device Management Platform, have options to set a password on the Viso Agent app. Once the password is set, the remote user will need to supply the password if they wish to enter the Viso Agent app as some point and perform modifications to the setup. Also, the user of the Radix Device Management Platform can reset the Viso Agent app password if the remote user forgets it.
Note: The password will only be required for opening the Viso Agent app on the remote device and making changes. The other functions of the remote device (whether it is a tablet, smart TV, point-of-sale device, etc.) will remain unaffected.
