User permissions allow you to control what each user can see and do within the platform.
By assigning roles and permissions, you can ensure that users have access only to the relevant functionality.
This helps maintain better control, reduce errors, and support secure and efficient device management.
Accessing User Permissions
To modify permissions for a specific user:
1. Click the User Profile icon in the lower-left corner and select Users.
The Users Management menu opens.
2. From the list, select the user whose permissions you want to modify.
3. In the User Profile window, click Change User Permissions.
4. Review the list of available permissions and enable or disable them as needed.
5. (Optional) Click Allow All to grant full access.
Note: The "user" referred to here is an MDM platform user and has no relation to the local device user.
Changes to user permissions take effect after the user logs out and logs back in, or refreshes the browser.
For a detailed description of each permission type, refer to the Changing User Permissions page on the Radix website.
