The Insights View provides visual analytics on device and application usage across your fleet.
It helps you identify usage patterns, track trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize device performance.
You can also export this data into a CSV file for further analysis.
Accessing Insights
1. Click on Devices in the sidebar menu to open the Devices Table.
2. Select the group of devices you want to analyze. You can choose a specific group or select the All group to view insights across all devices in your fleet.
3. Click Insights.
If no selection is made, insights are displayed for the All group, for all devices in the fleet.
4. Use the date range selector to define the time period for analysis. In the example below, we are examining device metrics between the dates December 18, 2025 to January 18, 2026:
Insights Overview
The Insights view presents usage data through interactive charts and tables.
Hovering over data points provides additional details.
Key insights include:
- Device and firmware distribution – Shows the number of devices per firmware version
- Usage trends – Track device and app activity over time
- Issues trends – Monitor connectivity or stability issues
- Application usage – Identify the most and least used apps
- Per-device insights – Analyze usage data at the device level
These insights provide at-a-glance visibility into your fleet and help identify patterns quickly.
Working with the Data
Within the Insights view, you can:
- Sort data (ascending/descending)
Devices listing in the Insights window, allowing you to view app usage in ascending or descending value
- Export to CSV for further analysis in Excel
These insights help you better understand how your devices are being used and support more informed decision-making across your fleet.
